Care is provided for sick people with the science of health care. It is a vital component of any form of medical care. Nurses play the largest vital role in the hospital health care system.
Nursing roles are manifold and cover a wide range of responsibilities and functions, that depend on the level of qualification and the working various environment. At the time initial level, nurses are required for the bedside primary care of patients, while at the senior level they are required to manage special groups of people like psychiatric, paediatric, cardiac, and orthopaedic intensive care patients to assess the require specialised skilled nurses. Nurses are also involved in the administration and psychological support in dispensing medication, maintaining records of the patient’s progress reporting, and setting up and operating medical equipment.
